After eating, the old man broke out in a sweat, and his symptoms were relieved, thus getting the name of "old friend powder".
2. Fish in Hengxian County
Eating fish in Hengxian has been around since ancient times. According to the records of Hengzhou during the Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty, the earliest people who ate fish were the ancestors of Hengxian who lived on both sides of Yujiang River thousands of years ago. There is a charming folklore. According to legend, Dong Jing lived in Denggaoling in the Jin and Yuan Dynasties. One day, Dong Jing and his younger brother and sister went boating to enjoy the moon, and suddenly they saw a fairy coming from a fork in the road. Dong Jing invited guests, and the immortal said that he would not drink cooked food and left without saying goodbye. Shu brothers and sisters went into the mountains to find out, and met the immortal in the cave. The fairy entertained them with jade liquid, nectar and sashimi. Later, the brother and sister listened to the fairy's advice. Since then, the reputation of fish in Hengxian County has been greatly improved and spread to this day.
3. "Five-color glutinous rice"
In ancient times, there was a young Zhuang man named Tenon, whose father had long since passed away and only lived with his mother who was paralyzed in bed. Tenon was very filial. Afraid that his mother would be bored at home alone, he carried his mother up the mountain to chop firewood and transplant rice in the field. Every time, he will bring a big bag of his mother's favorite glutinous rice to her, so that she can eat it at any time when she is hungry. This move of Tenon's mother and son was seen by a monkey on the mountain. The monkey took advantage of the tenon to chop wood on the mountain and sneaked to the mother monkey to take the glutinous rice away in time. Mom can't move, she can only watch the monkey take glutinous rice. For several days, Tenon looked at his hungry mother and tugged at the maple leaves around him helplessly, but he couldn't think of any way. Suddenly, tenon found that his hand holding the maple leaf was black, which turned out to be stained with black maple leaf juice. Looking at the black fingers, Tenon had a brainwave. He immediately cut the maple leaves off the tree from home, put them in a stone mortar, soaked them in water for a day and a night to get black juice, and then soaked the glutinous rice in the black juice for a night. The next morning, black glutinous rice was picked up and cooked, and suddenly a fragrance filled the whole house. Mother shouted in the room, tenon, what smells so good! Tenon said excitedly, this is black glutinous rice, how fragrant and sweet it is! This day is the third day of the third lunar month.
Early in the morning, Tenon took his mother up the mountain to cut firewood. He wrapped black glutinous rice with banana leaves, deliberately revealing a little black. The monkey saw it, thought it was poison, dared not touch it, and ran away. On this day, Tenon ate black glutinous rice, but his mouth was thirsty, he felt energetic and made more firewood. From then on, tenon and his mother went up the mountain to cut wood, all with black glutinous rice. Later, the dealer learned tenon, and every household cooked black glutinous rice. Later, the clever banker learned to make yellow, red and purple glutinous rice with gardenia and red bluegrass, and finally evolved into today's five-color glutinous rice.
4. "lemon duck"
Speaking of "Ganjia jiepai Lemon Duck", there is a little-known allusion. According to legend, in the 3rd year of the Republic of China (19 15), Lu Rongting, a native of Wuyuan (now Wuming County) in Guangxi, and his brother-in-law Tan opened the first highway in Guangxi-Wu Yong Highway. One day, Lu Rongting and his men stopped at the jiepai Pavilion outside jiepai Village while inspecting the road construction. Lu Rongting saw that the rotating wood of the pavilion had cracked and weathered the wind and rain, and the brocade pattern on the pavilion was somewhat deformed. Just then a farmer passed by, and Lu Rongting asked him about it. He thinks that jiepai Pavilion is the facade of Nanning and Wuming and should be repaired. Hearing this, the villagers in jiepai Village felt very reasonable and grateful to Lu Rongting. One of the farmers slaughtered the ducks raised at home and treated them warmly. However, when cooking, due to the shortage of duck meat, farmers will put some pickled lemons, pickled peppers, garlic and ginger in the dishes to increase the weight of the dishes. Lu Rongting tasted it, and the lemon duck was sour and refreshing, fragrant but not greasy, and its appetite increased greatly, and it was full of praise for farmers' cooking skills. Since then, the story of Lu Rongting eating ducks in jiepai Pavilion has spread in the village. Since then, the situation has changed and the situation is turbulent. It was not completed until the second year of Lu Rongting's death (18 (1929)).
5. "Baba"

After returning to the camp, he said to his cronies, "Forgetting Wang Xi will not come to a good end. After my death, if the country is in trouble and the people are hungry and cold, you can dig three feet under Xiangmen (one of the eight gates in Suzhou) to find food to satisfy your hunger. " Fu Cha, the son of He Lu, refused Wu Zixu's advice many times after he succeeded to the throne, but actually listened to rumors, which led to Wu Zixu's suicide. As Wu Zixu expected, shortly after his death, Gou Jian of Yue took the opportunity to send troops to attack Wu and surrounded the capital of Wu. At that time, it was the end of the year, it was freezing, the people in the city were hungry and cold, and the country and people were really in danger. At this critical moment, people think of Wu Zixu's entrustment before his death, and secretly tear down the city walls to dig the ground. People are surprised to find that the foundations of cities are all bricks and stones pressed with cooked glutinous rice. It turns out that this is the grain reserve stored as the cornerstone of the city wall after a large amount of glutinous rice is steamed and pressed into bricks in Wu Zixu. People can't help but sigh, Wu Zixu is so prescient! Everyone picked up the glutinous rice bricks, smashed them, cooked them again and ate them separately. Later, in Chutian area, people would make glutinous rice into Ciba every year as a "city brick" to show their respect for Wu Zixu. Today, Ciba is still a must-have food for people all over South China before the Spring Festival every year. In some places, Ciba is made into large and small circles, symbolizing harvest, celebration and reunion. Some places are also called rice cakes, and this name also represents good luck. People often say: "rice cake, rice cake, long life." The rice cakes in Daoxiang Village, Guanqian Street, Suzhou are the best. There are lard rice cakes, brown sugar rice cakes and white sugar rice cakes. The glutinous rice flour used to make rice cakes is thin and sweet, and its color is white and bright. The rice cake can be cooked and fried, and it tastes sweet and fragrant. There are four varieties of lard rice cakes: rose, osmanthus and jujube paste. Their common characteristics are bright color, fat beauty and glutinous rice fragrance, which can be eaten for a long time. People in China eat rice cakes from the south and the north, and Suzhou rice cakes are very popular special products in the south.
