Another legend has played a catalytic role in the connection between Fengdu and ghost culture. Legend has it that in the Han Dynasty, two people, Yin Changsheng and Wang, saw through the world of mortals in the present words, so they began to practice in the famous mountains of Fengdu, and later they both became immortals. Word of mouth, people slowly misinformed Yin and Wang, which is a great thing. Yin and Wang are collectively called hades, that is.
Then after different dynasties, there were more and more statues related to ghosts and gods in Fengdu Mountain, and the ghost culture atmosphere became stronger and stronger, so that it was later called "ghost town". As a result, in the Ming Dynasty, Fengdu was eventually renamed Du Feng. After the founding of New China, superstition was broken and Du Feng was renamed Fengdu.
Fengdu, located in the eastern edge of Sichuan Basin, has been known as "Land of Abundance" since ancient times. Fengdu County, which straddles the banks of the Yangtze River, consists of a series of parallel folded mountain systems. The typical terrain of "four mountains and three troughs" is nourished by the water of the Yangtze River. Historically, Fengdu was indeed rich in products and qualified to be called "Fengdu".
