The historical origin of Wagangzhai:
According to Zuo Zhuan, in the summer of 502 BC, Qi sent troops to attack the remote places in the west of Lu. Jin Yang led the troops to save Lu, and Lu joined Jin reinforcements in the depression. Later, in order to commemorate this great meeting, people built a pavilion with bricks on a mound, commonly known as the tile pavilion, because the tile pavilion was built on the mound. Since then, people have simply called this place a crock.
