Signing up for the Boya program requires ambition, strong sense of social responsibility, development potential and curiosity, as well as excellent academic achievements. In principle, academic performance should be within the whole grade 1%, but it is not the only criterion.

In addition to academic performance, the following four types of students can also try to participate in the Boya program: students with the best performance in provincial key middle schools, students with the best performance in provincial key middle schools, students in the comprehensive camp of Peking University in the previous year, and candidates who failed to meet the requirements in comprehensive performance but won higher-level subject competitions.
