Shen Yuexuan Restaurant of Lilac Garden Hotel is the former residence of Li Hongzhang. On the shady Huashan Road in Shanghai, the most famous mansion is Lilac Garden located at No.849 Huashan Road. It is one of the most famous and well-preserved top garden houses in Shanghai in the past century. It used to be the private garden of Li Hongzhang, the minister of Beiyang in the late Qing Dynasty, and later moved into the youngest son Li Jingmai.
