history of catalyst industry
From the end of 19 to the beginning of the 20th century, a catalyst industry was gradually formed, producing catalysts such as sulfuric acid, oil hydrogenation, synthetic ammonia, methanol synthesis, Fischer-Tropsch synthesis and high-pressure hydrogenation of coal tar. But during this period, most of them were produced for their own use. Later, due to the development of petroleum refining industry, chemical industry and environmental protection, industrial organizations specializing in the production and sale of catalysts appeared. Due to the different types of catalysts, manufacturing methods and service industries, the catalyst industry has formed a diversified business model. Catalyst production organization includes: selection of raw materials and quality control, manufacture of catalysts and their carriers, evaluation of catalyst characteristics before leaving the factory, and provision of technical services to customers after leaving the factory.
