Historical view is the basis of values, and values are the embodiment of historical view. Therefore, the view of history should include values. The reasons are as follows: (1) Values contain a lot of historical views. For example, the correct value judgment should consciously follow the law of social development and consciously stand on the position of the overwhelming majority of the people; To realize the value of life, we should create value through labor and dedication (material production is the basis of the existence and development of human society) and realize value through the unity of individuals and society (university content); As a kind of social consciousness, values play an important role in social existence; Value judgment and value choice have class nature. (2) The historical view also contains many connotations of values. For example, people, as historical subjects, participate in making correct value judgments and value choices when carrying out reforms and revolutions; These two standards, namely, the subjective need of value and the objective law, are described in the historical view and integrated in the values. (3) Many university textbooks do not contain the values of historical view, because China's research is relatively late. Now some university textbooks have added many new contents of values. (4) The college entrance examination questions include the content of values when asking for answers to historical views.
