Aircraft accidents in China in recent years (since 2000);
On June 22, 2000, at about 3 pm, a Yun -7 passenger plane of Wuhan Airlines from Enshi, Hubei Province to Wuhan crashed in the suburbs of Wuhan, killing 49 people.

On June 30, 2004, a J-7 military plane crashed about 80 kilometers away from Wuhan city due to thunderstorm while returning for training. The ground personnel (children) were killed 1, injured 1, and two houses were burned down. The pilot parachuted and landed safely.
