I looked at this colorful pattern, and my personal understanding is that the story in the plate is the allusion of "Yi Ya Zheng Zi"; In the Spring and Autumn Period, Yiya was Qi Henggong's chef in charge of cooking. One day, Qi Henggong said to Yiya half jokingly, "I have eaten all kinds of delicacies, except doll meat." Later, in order to satisfy Qi Henggong, Yiya steamed her three-year-old son and gave it to Qi Henggong. Since then, Qi Heng realized that he was loyal to himself, so he promoted and reused Yiya. Later, Guan Zhong, the minister, told Qi Henggong when he was dying: Don't go near the elegant and vertical carvings. Qi Henggong said: Can't you trust Yiya to cook for me? Guan Zhong told him that everyone loves his son. If his son doesn't love him, how can he love you? It probably means that Yiya killed her son in order to win the appreciation of the king, promote her position and make a fortune. What good can such a person do in the future?
Although Yi Ya was spurned for "killing her son and offering her husband", she was revered as the ancestor of the catering industry by later generations.
