Ancient Moon Bridge Cultural Relics Protection
Yiwu Museum and Chian Town jointly take measures to strengthen the protection of Guyue Bridge, a national cultural relic protection unit. Guyueqiao, located in Yazhijie Village, Chian, was built in Song Dynasty 12 13, and has a history of 789 years. After a long period of baptism, the handwriting on Guyue Bridge, which records the construction history of the bridge, has been blurred, and the silt deposition of Longxi River under the bridge has affected the safety of the bridge. To this end, experts from Yiwu Museum redrawn the characters on Guyue Bridge, and Yazhijie Village also organized personnel to dredge the sediment on Longxi to ensure the flood discharge of Longxi and the safety of Guyue Bridge, a national cultural relic. For the restoration of Guyue Bridge, we should use artistic means to beautify the image of the bridge, try our best to protect its original historical features, strengthen the bridge, protect the relevant characters, inscriptions and patterns on Guyue Bridge from erosion and destruction, and strengthen protective measures.
