The ending of the real Queen Nora in history is far less bleak than that in The Raiders of Buyens Jubilee.
In his life, Ganlong has been a queen twice. The first queen, Fu Cha, was the favorite woman in Qianlong's life. Unfortunately, Fu Cha died on his way home with Gan Longdong because of the loss of his son. Ganlong deeply missed this married wife all his life.

Compared with Fu Cha, the second queen of Gan Long, Ulana La, not only didn't get such treatment, but also turned against Gan Long, was confined to the cold palace, and finally died of grief.

Qianlong hated her guts, and Urnala was buried hastily after her death, even without posthumous title.

So, what did Urnala do to offend the dragon's face, so that Qianlong hated her guts and didn't want to meet her until he died?

Ulanala was born in the 57th year of Kangxi (17 18), seven years younger than Qianlong, and his father was Zorin Naboo. When Li Hong was a prince, Nara Nara was a side Fujin. After Qianlong ascended the throne, she was made a virtuous princess.

Among dozens of concubines in Qianlong, Qianlong respected Fu Cha the most and loved Gao Jia the most. Although Ulanala ranks third, there are indications that she is not optimistic.

The concubines in the palace were pregnant one after another, and the pure princess Su Jia and Jia Jia gave birth to children respectively, but in the early years of Qianlong, the Ulana family never came out. It was not until she became queen that the Urnala family began to give birth to a prince when she was old.

Although she was not loved and paid nothing, as an old man who entered the harem from Wang Fu and devoted himself to the Queen Mother, Ula got the promotion she deserved. In the 10th year of Qianlong reign (1745), Nora, a fairy princess, was promoted to imperial concubine with Sujia, a pure princess.

After the death of Fu Cha, according to the imperial edict of the Empress Dowager, in the 14th year of Qianlong (1749), Wu Nala was appointed as the imperial concubine, "taking photos of the Sixth Palace".

Gan Long, a great poet, wrote the poem "Celebrating in the Sixth Palace, Provoking Endless Frustration" shortly after canonizing Unara as a Imperial concubine. When these two poems are refined, they seem to have a touch of melancholy, but they are not as happy as the new celebration.

Gan Long's biological mother likes Urnala very much. She thinks that the palace should not be empty for a long time, so she has been blowing to Gan Long, hoping that he can make Urnala queen as soon as possible.

According to the situation in the palace at that time, the only one who showed three flags, had a noble position and had experience in fetching things from the harem, and satisfied the queen mother was Urnala.

However, Gan Long's affection for the first queen, Focha, was too deep. In Gan Long's heart, only Fuchika is worthy of the Queen, and no one can replace her position in Gan Long's heart. Therefore, after the establishment, it has been delayed until the three-year mourning period of Foucha expires. Under the repeated urging and arrangement of Empress Dowager Cixi, Gan Long reluctantly awarded the title of Queen Unara.

In fact, Qianlong himself knows that Queen Nora is not wrong. Compared with Focha, she also accompanied him all the way from Wang Fu to the palace. The same dignified and virtuous, the same filial piety to the queen mother, and the same deep love from the queen mother. However, Qianlong's affection for Fu Cha is too deep. He didn't want anyone to take the place of the queen, and he didn't want anyone to live in Changchun Palace where the first queen lived.

Therefore, for a long time, Qianlong was as respectful as "ice" to Queen Nora. It's nobody's fault, but everything happened at the wrong time.

Gan Long knew that there was nothing wrong with Queen Nana. Considering politics and the stability of the harem, he must accept her, be kind to her, and strive to establish a loving and harmonious relationship with the queen.

As a result, Qianlong began to approach Queen Nora to enhance the relationship between husband and wife. Queen Nora gave birth to two sons and a daughter for Ganlong. It should be said that during this period, Queen Nora was favored by Qianlong.

However, the good times didn't last long. Qianlong transferred his feelings to a younger princess, Wei Jiashi, and Queen Nala was left out in the cold.

Gan Long's empathy seems to be like a young couple. In fact, because of the late first queen, she has always been an insurmountable gap between Gan Long and the new queen.

Gan Long always compares them unconsciously. Even though Queen Nora tried her best, for Gan Long, difference means difference.

Especially after close contact with Nala Queen, Gan Long discovered that Nala Queen's personality was too strong and stubborn compared with Fu's gentle and honest tea affair, which made Gan Long miss the beauty of Fu's tea affair more and more.

Wei Jiashi, the new favorite of Qianlong, came from humble origins. She was originally the maid-in-waiting of the first empress Fucha, and Fucha liked her very much when she was alive. Wei Jiashi's demeanor is quite rich, and her character is gentle and demure. She has many similarities with rich people, which may be the reason why Qianlong dotes on her.

Under the love of Wei Jiashi for more than ten years, she gave birth to four men and two women, and rose all the way. Thirty years after Qianlong's reign, Wei Jiashi was promoted to imperial concubine, second only to Queen Nora.

Queen Nana fell out of favour, and her resentment towards Gan Long grew deeper and deeper. She often cries secretly. She felt extremely unbalanced about her unrequited efforts, especially Gan Long's contempt for her hard work made her even more sad and embarrassed.

Queen Nora has a gentle and smooth surface and a strong personality. She is not a dissatisfied housewife in the palace.

In the 30th year of Qianlong (1765), Qianlong went south with his mother for the fourth time, accompanied by Empress Unara and Imperial concubine Wei Jiashi. When the southern expedition arrived in Hangzhou, Qianlong ordered Queen Nora, who was suddenly insane, to be escorted back to Beijing in advance by Fu Longan and confined in the palace.

This sudden change, the official has not given a clear answer. The only thing that is clear is that Queen Nora broke the taboo and caused great anger.

According to the custom in Manchuria, women only have their hair cut when their husbands or parents die. Usually cutting hair is considered a taboo and very unlucky. Queen Nora actually picked up scissors and cut her hair in public, so Gan Long said that she had sudden madness and abnormal behavior.

Gan Long has been having her hair cut in Hangzhou.

Anecdotal legends and unofficial history records widely circulated that Qianlong wanted to take a concubine in Jiangnan, but Queen Nora failed to dissuade him, which led to a quarrel between the two sides. In a rage, Queen Nora broke her hair with a knife.

Some people in later generations analyzed it from a physiological point of view. Queen Nora was almost 50 years old when her hair was cut off. At that time, it was female menopause, and her mood fluctuated greatly. Maybe something or a sentence changed her mood and cut her hair on impulse.

Because there is no clear file record, perhaps only Gan Long and Queen Nala know the truth of this history best.

Shortly after Qianlong returned to Beijing from his southern tour, he ordered the queen to take back four treasures, namely, one for the queen, one for the imperial concubine, one for the imperial concubine and one for the imperial concubine, and laid off some courtiers. In July, there were only two maids left under Queen Nora. According to the Qing palace system, there are only two maids in the palace.

Although Qianlong was not publicly abolished, Queen Nora was put in limbo, and the living expenses were the same as those of the Queen. Queen Nora suffered mentally and physically, and died in the thirty-first year of Qianlong (1766) at the age of 49.

When Gan Long was hunting in Mulan paddock, he heard the news of the queen's death and ordered the son of Queen Nora to return to the palace forever.

Qianlong ordered Queen Nala to be buried with the etiquette of the imperial concubine, but in fact the funeral level of Queen Nala was lower than that of the imperial concubine. Her coffin failed to enter the Yuling underground palace during the Qianlong period, but was buried in the imperial palace.
