A brief introduction to the origin of labor day.
Origin of Labor Day: 1886 May 1. In Chicago, USA, workers have to work 14 to 16 hours a day, some even as long as 18 hours, but their wages are very low.

So more than 200 thousand workers went on strike for their legitimate rights and interests. The strike slogan put forward by the workers calls for an eight-hour working day. After a hard and bloody struggle, we finally won.

1889 In July, in order to commemorate this great workers' movement, May 1 day was designated as International Labor Day every year, and this decision was appreciated by workers all over the world. Since then, every Labor Day, working people all over the world have gathered and marched to celebrate this hard-won festival.

In China, Labor Day was first held in 19 18, and revolutionary intellectuals distributed "May Day" leaflets to the people in Shanghai and Suzhou. It was not until 1949 that New China was founded that Labor Day was designated as a legal holiday, and there was a national holiday.
