Israel is the promised land recorded in the Bible. It is the homeland of Jews, and the Jewish nation and its ancestors have been rooted in Israel for 35 centuries. After the Jews left their homeland, it was occupied by Persians and Arabs for more than 1000 years and was regarded as their hometown for a long time. After the rise of Islam, the Jewish quarter became its sphere of influence. Muslims built two mosques in the original site of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem, and regarded Jerusalem as one of the holy places of Islam. Muslims and Jews are at odds. In addition, until the 1930s, the ghetto was still barren and uninhabitable. At the same time, after the Second World War, Eastern European countries established a socialist system, and the confrontation between the Eastern Group headed by the Soviet Union and the capitalist camp headed by the United States and Britain became more acute. In the United Nations Security Council, the Soviet Union and the United States are always tit for tat. If the United States and Britain support Israel's revival, the Soviet Union will definitely oppose it. If either party votes against it, the resolution cannot be passed. The restoration of Israel not only shocked the whole world, but also it is a mystery whether the restored Israel can stand firm and develop continuously. Arabs in North Africa and the Middle East cannot tolerate the existence of the State of Israel. The day after Israel announced its restoration, it was attacked by Arab countries, with the purpose of strangling Israel in its infancy. At that time, the population of more than 20 Arab countries was10.5 billion, which was well equipped; Israel, on the other hand, has only 650,000 people and poor weapons. This is a one-sided war. As soon as the war broke out, the United Arab League announced: "This will be a war of slaughter and annihilation!" However, at the end of the war, Israel was not annihilated, but expanded its territory. Since then, there have been three large-scale Arab-Israeli wars. Every time, Israel faces a disaster. But the war always turns around again and again, miraculously turning Israel, which was completely annihilated, from defeat to victory. Recently, Israel has successively signed peace treaties with the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Kingdom of Jordan, further consolidating its position. In addition to military and political victories, Israel has made remarkable achievements in agriculture, industry and science and technology in just a few decades, and is called "the smallest superpower". Although outsiders feel incredible about all this, the Israelis know very well that all this is God's masterpiece, because God promised them to "come back here" and "live safely". People often ask, why did God choose a weak country like Israel as his voter in the first place? If God chooses a big family like the Chinese nation, wouldn't it be more conducive to preaching the gospel? Who God chooses as his voters is entirely God's sovereignty, not to say that the Israeli nation is better than other nations. We don't understand why God chose Israel. We can only speculate. The Jewish quarter is located at the junction of Europe, Asia and Africa, which is very conducive to the rapid spread of the gospel. Second, Israel is a weak country. It has not been assimilated by foreign countries for more than two thousand years. After the restoration of the country, it was able to overcome the weak and stand among the world powers. It can be seen that this is not the credit of the Israelis themselves, but the credit of God. When people are weak, they can show the glory of God. This is the truth repeatedly taught in the Bible. The history of the Israeli nation not only fully verifies the prophecy of the Bible, but also clearly tells people that choosing the God of Israel is the real master of mankind and all things in the universe.
