Several planes full of gasoline burst into flames, which were flushed by flames dozens of feet high at night, sending four planes and 100 devils to the west in one fell swoop. In the battle, Zhao Dali and other four people died heroically.

Since then, the victory of the night attack on Yangmingbao Airport has spread all over the front line like a hurricane, which greatly inspired the Chinese nation's war of resistance.

1July, 1937, China people's national anti-Japanese war broke out. 10/October, the battle of Xinkou started. The 769th Regiment of the Eighth Route Army129th Division was ordered to go north behind enemy lines to contain and stop the Japanese army in Xinkou. On the way, I stumbled across the Japanese "Yangmingbao" airport in Daixian County, Shanxi Province. The 769th Regiment led by 23-year-old Chen Xilian decisively attacked and destroyed the airport and all 24 planes. More than 30 soldiers under Zhao Songde, battalion commander of the 3rd Battalion of the 769th Regiment, died heroically. This is the only record in historical materials. How to put this history on the screen and make a good movie? Take this film as a part of "Celebrity of the Republic" series, and write about Chen Xilian and his team.

How to write a good story about Chen Xilian is based on the principle that major events are not empty and minor events are not arbitrary.
