Kangxi outsmarted Ao Bai's allusions
Emperor Kangxi ascended the throne at the age of eight. According to the emperor shunzhi's testamentary edict, Sony, Suksaha, Zieba Bilong and Ao Bai were assistant ministers at that time, helping Michelle Ye to handle government affairs. Among the four ministers of Fuzheng, Ao Bai is the most domineering. He placed his son and cronies in an important position in the imperial court. At first, because Michelle Ye was young and unable to compete with Ao Bai, under Xiaozhuang's arrangement, he mainly studied and studied all day.

When Kangxi was fourteen years old, he officially began to take charge of state affairs according to the precedent of Shunzhi Emperor at the age of fourteen, but Ao Bai didn't want to give his power back to Kangxi. Not only that, when Kangxi was in office, he echoed Ao Bai everywhere and could only listen to Ao Bai's command, while the other two were framed by Ao Bai and died. Emperor Kangxi naturally didn't want to be interfered and directed by Ao Bai everywhere after leading the government, so he wanted to get rid of Ao Bai. Kangxi found a group of aristocratic men in their teens as guards. Every time Ao Bai enters the palace, he often sees these teenagers wrestling in the imperial garden, thinking that they are just playful children. On May 16th, the eighth year of Kangxi, Ao Bai was summoned to the palace, captured by the guards of Kangxi, and his main confidants were arrested one after another.
