Lightning interface, also known as lightning interface, is an exclusive connector specification made by Apple. It first appeared at the launch conference of iPhone5 in 20 12, that is, since iPhone5, every generation of new iPhones and iPad have been equipped with this Lightning data interface.
In other words, the Lightning data interface was used as early as Apple iPhone5, which supports forward and backward insertion, similar to the USB-C interface familiar to Android users. The USB Type-C interface for Android phones supporting forward and backward insertion basically appeared in 20 14, and became popular in 20 15.
Lightning interface defect
The maximum supported transmission rate still stays at the level of USB 2.0. Back to 20 12, when the lightning interface was born, this speed was very objective. However, the current maximum speed of 35MB/S is getting worse and worse.
The defects of lightning in fast charging technology are more and more obvious. Now, in order to realize Apple's so-called 30-minute charging of 50%, it is necessary to use the C-type data cable to the Lightning interface instead of the traditional USB-Lightning data cable.
