What is the experience of graduate students of world history in Sichuan University?
Senior majoring in world history, 2 1 admitted to Sichuan university. I would like to share my experience in preparing for the exam here, hoping to provide you with some useful reference.

L politics

From August to September, I mainly focused on knowledge points, combined with teaching materials and courseware, and became familiar with the basic framework and knowledge points, leaving a basic impression; 10 to 1 10 began to brush Xiao Xiurong's 1000 questions, focusing on multiple-choice questions, checking for leaks and filling vacancies. 1after the middle of October, 165438+ entered the sprint stage, constantly brushing simulation questions, and cooperating with Xiao four shaw to recite big questions and prepare for the current political situation.

L English

World History, a postgraduate course in Sichuan University, is English I, and the score is basically 60 points over the years, which is relatively difficult and needs careful review. The sooner you prepare English, the better. Before June, we should lay a good foundation and try to master all the words and phrases required by the outline.

; July to 10 is an intensive brushing stage. At least the real questions of 1998-20 18 should be finished at one time, carefully summarized, translated and written before practice. Keep the feeling of doing the problem in the sprint stage. Before the exam, you should do the real question of 20 19-202 1 for simulation. Those students who still have spare capacity can do some simulation problems.

There is only one specialized course in the postgraduate entrance examination of world history. Personally, I think it is better than reviewing two professional courses, although there are many things. The required reading list is the six-volume World History edited by Qi, especially the preface of each book, which is very helpful for candidates to understand the general history of the whole world. Non-history majors can understand the core ideas of this set of books with the help of the preface. In addition, according to the characteristics of the world history postgraduate entrance examination questions, there are some supplementary books written by institutions and individuals in the market, which are mostly published in the form of topics. In this respect, I used the National Postgraduate Entrance Examination Historical Basis and Outline of World History, which was recommended by the new teacher and edited by Chang, and the National Postgraduate Entrance Examination Historical Basis, Terminology Interpretation and Essay (World History Volume). Among them, Analysis of World History Outline is a shortened version of the textbook, which looks more convenient than the textbook and can be used in the process of series connection and memory. In addition, the explanation of nouns in teaching AIDS is a bit too simple, and it needs to be supplemented and perfected by itself. Simply reciting is not enough.

Secondly, the setting of short answer questions and essay questions may confuse some students. In fact, there is no essential difference. Short answer questions don't have to be very short, but there must be a certain number of words to make all the information-time, place, people, events, causes, results and influences clear. So there is no numerical limit for both, and all elements should be said. Finally, in view of the detailed explanation of the real questions and answers over the years, I have already talked about the importance of the real questions, so I won't repeat them here, but I still want to emphasize what the real questions are to study. Personally, the purpose of studying real questions is to find out the ideas of proposition teachers. Teachers of world history have different research fields. When giving questions, they tend to give questions in their own research fields and scope, and generally do not give questions in unfamiliar places and knowledge points, because "the industry has specialization." Therefore, finding out the preferences and biases of teachers will make the review focused.

I. Bibliography

1, edited by Wu and Qi: World History, Higher Education Press, 20 1 1 year.

2. Zhang Guangzhi: History of Western Historiography, Fudan University Press, 20 10.

3. Zhou: Ancient World History, Beijing Normal University Press, 2004.

4. Kong, editor-in-chief: World Medieval History, Beijing Normal University Press, 2006.

5. Liu Zongxu: Modern World History, Beijing Normal University Press, 20 1 1 year.

6. Pan Runhan and Lin Chengjie: Modern World History, Peking University Publishing House, 2000.

7. Zhang Jianhua: Modern World History, Beijing Normal University Press, 2006.

8. Tang Xianxing, editor-in-chief: History of Modern International Relations, Fudan University Press, 2002.

There is no designated bibliography in the world history of Sichuan University. This book list is summarized by seniors and sisters over the years, so it has strong reference value. It should be noted here that Wu Qi's six volumes are the basic textbooks for the specialty of world history. Basically, as long as there is a college of world history, the textbooks are all this series.

Therefore, this set of books is also the basic bibliography for our postgraduate review. Everyone should have a set, and the follow-up review will be based on this series. But Chi WU's six volumes can't cover all the knowledge points, so in the later review, you'd better collect these special works to supplement the knowledge points. In the part of historical theory, Sichuan University basically gives a short answer every year, 30 points, so students should pay attention. Zhang Guangzhi's History of Western Historiography is recommended by Historiography Theory. It is best for students to read through the book during the preparation stage, and then focus on reviewing the exam content.

Second, review the experience of specialized courses.

(A) review methods of specialized courses

Multi-round review

The first round: before September: Wu Qi's six books are the most basic, so you must read them as soon as possible, read them several times as soon as possible, and at the same time take notes carefully and organize the curriculum outline. Students who have spare capacity suggest reading the recommended bibliography to broaden their knowledge points.

The second round: September-65438+1October: according to the sorted outline of world history, deepen the outline content, expand the outline depth and deepen the outline memory according to the principles of time, region and type;

The third round: 165438+ 10 month: according to the self-compiled outline, read more and recite more, improve constantly, start to do the real questions of the target colleges over the years, dig deep into relevant knowledge, cultivate feelings and take more notes;

Finally: 65438+February: Reciting and writing are combined to check for missing parts. Review methods vary from person to person, and everyone should adjust the review plan at any time according to their own review progress.

(B) reading methods of reference books

1, directory method

Before reading, read through the contents of reference books, have a preliminary understanding of the knowledge system of each book, then open the text to read, understand its internal logical structure, and then study its content in depth. After reading it, try to briefly retell the knowledge points against the catalogue.

2, the system method

Establish a framework for what you have learned, try to draw your own mind map, and connect the knowledge points in series to form a whole memory. It is best to close your eyes and see a complete knowledge system. For the content that can't be remembered at the moment, focus on memory.

3. Question method

Summarize what you have learned into questions and write them out. The title of each chapter is good material for asking questions. Try to organize all the knowledge points into questions and try to answer them. You must ponder over what you don't know and thoroughly understand all the problems you have sorted out.

4. Intensive reading method

For some designated bibliographies, students must carefully read the important knowledge points of each chapter and study the core connotation of the system after establishing the framework.

5. Skimming

The rest of the bibliography, students should quickly browse in the reading process, start with the catalogue, briefly understand the basic content of the book, as a supplement to the teaching materials.

(C) study notes sorting method

1, the first study notes mainly summarize the main contents of the textbook. It is best to sort out the knowledge framework and write it in a notebook, and at the same time write down important knowledge points. In the process of taking notes, arrange what you have learned and express it in your own language.

2. The content of the first study notes is complicated and the workload is heavy. Remember to keep a good attitude, take notes for the purpose of stability, detail and completeness, and lay a solid foundation. After gradually leaving the textbook in the later period, notes are our main review tool, so we must do the details well.

3. The first study note is similar to the textbook knowledge, mainly focusing on the basic knowledge points. When studying for the second time, you can fill in the gaps by combining the notes from the first time, and you will also study hard in specialized courses to consolidate your memory. When doing problems in the future, pay attention to recording typical problems and your own mistakes.

4. Pay attention to sorting when taking notes to facilitate inquiry. You can use notebooks of different sizes at different stages, or you can use a unified notebook, but be careful not to mix the contents. At the same time, pay attention to the serial number such as page number for reference. In addition, every once in a while, make corresponding copies of the notes made during this period to prevent the original from being lost. Unified reference books can be bought in bookstores, but notes are unique. Notes are the painstaking efforts of the whole review process, so you must take good care of them.

(D) the use of real questions

1, it is very important for candidates to make clear the direction of review, determine the scope and focus of review and prepare for the exam by carefully analyzing and summarizing the test questions over the years.

2. The analysis of test questions should mainly understand the following aspects: the style of the proposition (such as difficulty, whether it focuses on basic knowledge, application ability or exertion ability, whether there are biased, difficult and strange phenomena, especially the fixed style of real questions in the past five years), the type of questions (carefully grasp the types and methods that have changed in the past five years) and the amount of questions (write the questions according to the test time and the simulation of real questions). Grasp your own time and thinking), the scope of the exam (review according to last year's bibliography and always pay attention to the publication of this year's bibliography), the distribution of scores, the focus of the exam (combined with the analysis of important and difficult courses), and the focus of the exam.

3.65 1 world history has a large score and many contents. Students must do special exercises before the exam, try their best to improve the speed of doing the questions and allocate the time for answering each question. At the same time, students should also pay attention to writing in the process of answering questions, at least to be neat and standardized. It is best to practice calligraphy in advance, and a good hand can at least make the marking teacher give more points. In the final simulation process, students should pay attention to these problems.

The sharing of seniors is over here, hoping to bring reference and help to the students who are preparing for the 23rd World History Postgraduate Entrance Examination of Sichuan University. I wish you all success in the first battle!
