The Legend of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty was filmed by director Shen Haofang after directing The Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The whole drama is divided into the Spring and Autumn Period of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty and the Warring States Period of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty.

The essence of the play lies in the restoration of historical details, both in clothing and etiquette, which are the highest level in China. Especially in the Spring and Autumn Period, all meaningful historical events in the Spring and Autumn Period were put on the screen from the bonfire drama of princes in Zhou Youwang.

The main plot of the Chronicle of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty

In the 5th century BC, at the end of the Spring and Autumn Period, the Central Plains boiled like volcanic rocks. The State of Jin, the largest country in the Central Plains, straddled Shanxi, Henan, Hebei and Inner Mongolia, and collapsed from within.

The four powerful relatives, Zhi, Zhao, Wei and Han, joined forces to destroy the other two powerful ministers, Fan and Bank of China, carve up their territory, and overhead the rights of the monarch, thus becoming the de facto rulers of the State of Jin. However, this is not the end, and a more bitter struggle has been launched between Chile, Zhao, Wei and South Korea. Their struggle ushered in a new era and created an epoch-making hero.
