Because there are few historical materials about Guan Hanqing, the writer's fictional space is still very large. Facing the triple test of changing drama, leaving and surrendering, Guan Hanqing is indomitable every time. Until he finally faced the death threat directly, he still did not change the original intention of the people. In the process of steaming, boiling, beating and frying, Guan Hanqing's "copper pea" character was shaped. The gradual plot finally sets an idealized hero. The basic plot of the play is easily reminiscent of the activities of left-wing artists such as Tian Han under the leadership of * * * before 1949. So in this sense, Guan Hanqing is not a realistic figure, but a symbolic figure.
