The historical story of borrowing money to raise funds.
When Liu Bang and Xiang Yu were at loggerheads, a Confucian scholar named Li Shiqi gave Liu Bang an idea to enfeoffment the descendants of the six countries during the Warring States Period. Liu bang hesitated. At dinner, he asked Sean what the idea was. Sean immediately expressed firm opposition. He grabbed a chopstick from Liu Bang's box and said, "Please let me use this chopstick to plan for the king." Then the harm of this proposition is analyzed from eight aspects, and a chopstick is extended for each reason. This is the origin of the allusion of "borrowing money to raise money", which can also be called "borrowing money from Sean". Liu Bang accepted Sean's advice, withdrew the power of attorney, avoided the separatist regime, and realized the great cause of reunification in the Han Dynasty for 400 years. Later, Liu Ji of the Ming Dynasty wrote a poem describing this plot. Zhu Yuanzhang asked Liu Ji, "Can you write poetry?" Liu replied, "You mean Confucianism is the last thing?" While eating, Zhu Yuanzhang pointed to the bamboo chopsticks in front of him and asked Liu to write poems. Liu was angry and said, "A pair of Xiangjiang jade jewels looked side by side, and the second princess shed tears." Zhu Yuanzhang frowned and said, "The scholar smells." The last two sentences came out: "The Han family has been waiting for a loan for 400 years!" Zhu Yuanzhang was overjoyed when he heard Liu Ji's poem.
