Yan Shifan is known as the first gifted scholar in Jiajing Dynasty. What talent does he have? Yan Shifan, the son of Yan Song, the first official of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty, has been praised as a genius in history. Without Yan Shifan's help, Yan Song could have been a traitor for decades. This is no exaggeration. Unlike many officials in the Ming Dynasty, Yan Shifan failed the imperial examination.

But through his father's relationship, he entered the official career without trial. Later, with Yan Song's power in the imperial court, he was promoted step by step in the DPRK. From Shang Baosi Shao Qing to Zuo Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Industry, he gradually became a senior official of the Ming Dynasty. Although he failed the imperial examination and became an official, Yan Shifan's brain is absolutely enough.

Yan Shifan is not cunning, he knows the times very well. Moreover, he is very familiar with the classics of Chinese studies, and the most important thing is that he is good at trying to figure out the psychology of others. Because of his stunts, he was called the first gifted scholar in Jiajing Dynasty. In fact, Yan Shifan's high position had a lot to do with his time and the reigning Jiajing Emperor himself.

If you want to explain clearly, you have to start from the position of Emperor Jiajing. It was quite unexpected that Emperor Jiajing could be emperor. Due to the childless and early death of the former emperor Ming Wuzong, ministers had to choose a brother of Emperor Jiajing as the next emperor among the royal family.

Because Jiajing and Mingwuzong had the closest blood relationship, and they were still young at that time, ministers thought he was easy to bully, so they unexpectedly made him emperor. But later history proved that these old ministers were wrong, and Emperor Jiajing was really not a fool.

Later, in order to seize power smoothly, Emperor Jiajing defeated those ministers through a big etiquette dispute. But this incident also gave the young Emperor Jiajing an illusion that he had the highest IQ and was higher than anyone else. Therefore, after Emperor Jiajing came to power, he was very good at using the struggle between ministers to stabilize his position.

Moreover, the conceited Jiajing emperor was used to thinking that he was always right and did not listen to other people's suggestions at all. So after several rounds of struggle, the great traitor Yan Song came to power. Compared with previous ministers, Yan Song has several advantages, which satisfy Jiajing most. First of all, Yan Song is very obedient, very flattering and never goes against his will.

Moreover, Yan Song especially writes in blue, which is the kind of article used to pray for heaven. It is these two advantages that make Yan Song stand out and become the biggest power minister in Jiajing era. Yan Song knew very well that the only way to maintain his position was to make the emperor happy.

However, it is not easy to do this. Because being a traitor is not that easy. Emperor Jiajing was notoriously difficult to serve. In addition to writing green ci, Emperor Jiajing was particularly confident in his talent. So many times, when Emperor Jiajing gave orders to the ministers below, he would not give orders directly, but let the ministers guess directly.

Many times, Jia Jing may only write a few words, or even give a word, and then let ministers guess what he means. If you guess right, everything will be fine. If you guess wrong, you are in big trouble. I have to say that Jiajing is indeed a very knowledgeable person, so these tips are often given in a wide range. If you want to solve the problem, you can only be smarter than Jiajing and study more than Jiajing.

As the biggest official of the Ming Dynasty at that time, Yan Song was naturally closest to the emperor and had to face these problems from Jiajing every day. When Yan Song was under such great pressure, Yan Shifan came to him like an angel. Although Yan Shifan did not experience the imperial examination, there were no books and articles circulated in the world.

But Yan Shifan is a well-read man. He knows all about the past and the present. Later, every time Jiajing gave Yan Song a question, Yan Shifan always answered it easily for Torre, and basically did not miss it. On one occasion, Emperor Jiajing read an orphan. Later, when he read something he didn't understand, he copied it down with Zhu Pi and gave it to Yan Song.

When Yan Song read this sentence, he was puzzled at that time: He wondered where the whole sentence of the Emperor came from and why he had never even heard it. Was it written by Emperor Jiajing himself? This is not good, if this translation is wrong, the consequences are really unimaginable! So, Yan Song and several cabinet members immediately began to read the Bible in the yamen, and even forgot to eat, and began to check the information one by one. But even so, let the little eunuch sent by the emperor push it again and again.

Finally, Emperor Jiajing got impatient and came straight up and scolded: "You useless people are nothing. What's the use of raising you! " Just at this time, Yan Shifan also came back from the outside. When he saw his father and several ministers leafing through books, he felt that he was in a hurry.

So I asked: What's the matter? Why are you in such a hurry? Yan Song told his son the reason and showed him the little note. As a result, Yan Shifan took a look and said with great certainty: I have read this passage, which book is it from, and what does it mean? Yan Song a listen to very happy, hurriedly checked, a look at it. It is not difficult to see from this incident that Yan Shifan is also a genuine scholar, not a general "cleverness".

But also because of his cleverness, he and his family were killed! In the forty-third year of Jiajing (namely 1564), Yan Song fell out of favor and was dismissed on the spot; As his son, Yan Shifan was also exiled. However, Yan Shifan did not go to the designated exile, but played a trick on the road and returned to his hometown of Xinyu, Jiangxi, where he was still engaged in construction.

At that time, Xinyu was thousands of miles away from Beijing, the sky was high and the emperor was far away. As long as Yan Shifan is not so arrogant, the emperor has so much junk in one day that he has no time to talk to him. If he wants to hide himself, he can't spend all his life with a lot of gold, silver and jewels he found before.

But it happened that Yan Shifan just didn't change his inferiority. He also bullied men and women in his hometown and was finally sued. In a rage, Jiajing took him back to Beijing to go to jail and decided to be convicted again. Even if he was put in prison, Yan Shifan didn't take it seriously. He was not afraid at all. He thinks it's nothing.

However, his colleagues who were imprisoned with him were all confused when they saw him like this, but Yan Shifan said to him calmly: Don't be afraid, we will be released soon! It turned out that Yan Shifan had instructed his colleagues to spread the news throughout the capital as early as he learned about the handling of the case by the presiding officer and the progress of the case: Yan Shifan not only took bribes and perverted the law, but also wrongfully killed the admonishers Yang Jisheng and Shen Lian, hoping that the presiding officer would rehabilitate them.

The idea of normal people is that if you are in trouble, you have to find ways to spend money or rehabilitate by some means. But it happened that Yan Shifan didn't do it. He added more charges to himself. He really felt that he died too slowly. To the officials who presided over Yan Shifan at that time, Yan Shifan deserved to die. Therefore, naturally, I am more willing to write more charges for him and want him to get on the road more "quickly".

Yan Shifan to do so, nature is not fast enough, but another mystery. Because the two cases mentioned by Yan Shifan were personally examined and approved by Emperor Jiajing. In other words, if the presiding officer wants to reverse the verdict for Yang and Shen, it is undoubtedly the emperor's misjudgment. This thing is taboo! How could the emperor be wrong?

So, if this passbook is really handed over to Emperor Jiajing, then in terms of Yan Shifan's understanding of the emperor, he will not only not die, but will probably be reinstated. And these presiding officers will be put into prison by Emperor Jiajing on the grounds of "framing loyalty".

If you are not a genius, how can you come up with such a bad trick? However, contrary to expectations, Yan Shifan met his opponent this time, that is, political genius Xu Jie. Xu Jie saw something fishy at a glance, so he stopped them. Convicted Yan Shifan again.

It is irrefutable to get him several trumped-up charges that Yan Shifan knows Japanese and let Yan Shifan see for himself. Although there is not a word in the memorial written by Xu Jie that Yan Shifan rebelled, the general meaning is that Yan Shifan is going to rebel!

Emperor Jiajing usually turned a blind eye to corruption, as long as it was not too much. However, rebellion is another matter. Once caught, you must never let go. So the ending is clear. Emperor Jiajing was furious when he saw the letter. Finally, in the forty-four years of Jiajing (namely 1565), Yan Shifan was beheaded.

Yan Shifan was favored by the emperor because of his cleverness. Finally, because I was too smart, I ended up like this. Sometimes talent is a good thing, but if you use it in the wrong place, it will really ruin yourself!
