Huqiu Mountain is 34.3 meters above sea level and covers an area of 0. 19 square kilometers. The mountain is composed of Jurassic volcanic magma, and rocks such as Qianrenshi, Jianshi and Jianchi are rhyolite. Jurassic volcanic rocks are distributed under the Quaternary alluvium in the whole plain area in the east, north and west directions of Huqiu.
Wanjing Mountain Villa, located at the east foot of Tiger Hill, brings together the essence of Soviet bonsai, which is in harmony with the mountain light tower shadow. The mountain behind Tiger Hill is densely covered with vegetation and forests, and birds hover around the tower, which is very spectacular. In the past two years, Xixi Huancui and Shu Tai Songying, two scenic spots in the "Ten Scenes of Tiger Hill", have been restored. In 2007, the second lighting project of Huqiu was completed, and the Millennium Leaning Tower shone against the night, which became a new highlight of the night view of Suzhou ancient city.
The most fascinating monument in Tiger Hill is Jianchi, the tomb of He Lv, the king of Wu. Looking from Qianshi to the north, the four characters "Tiger Hill and Sword Pool" are engraved next to the circular cave entrance, which was originally written by Yan Qi, the only son of Yan Zhenqing, a great calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty. On the stone wall in the round cave, there is also the inscription "Fenggu Yunquan", which was written by Mi Fei, one of the four great calligraphers in the Song Dynasty. There is the word "sword pool" on the left wall of the cliff, which was handed down by the great calligrapher Wang Xizhi.
The two red fonts are "Sword Pool", which is said to have been written by Wang Xizhi, a famous calligrapher in the Eastern Jin Dynasty in China. The four blue fonts are "Wind Gulls and Clouds", written by Mi Fei, a famous calligrapher in the Song Dynasty. These four words completely sum up the scenery here, which means that you can stand here and listen to the wind, look up at the rocks, look up at the clouds and look down at the flowing springs.
