In June, 20021,the first batch of inactivated vaccine of Keweifu novel coronavirus independently developed by Institute of Medical Biology, China Academy of Medical Sciences was put on the market in China for emergency use.

So far, seven COVID-19 vaccines have been approved for marketing or emergency use in China, while eight vaccines have been approved for phase III clinical trials abroad, and 1 mRNA vaccine has been ethically approved abroad.

On 2002 1 June1day, WHO announced that China Kexing COVID-19 vaccine was included in the "emergency use list". In the statement, WHO pointed out that Kexing vaccine meets the international standards of safety and effectiveness.
