The three national treasures of Nanjing Museum are: the brick paintings of the seven sages of bamboo forest and Rongqi period, the geographical map of the universe and the glazed arch of Hongzhi. The Geographic Map of the Great World was painted by Li Zhizao, Shao Qing of Taibu Temple in the 30th year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty (1602). It has always been regarded as the earliest existing map of the world in China and the first map of America; Nanjing Museum now collects color picture books of the court in the thirty-sixth year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty.
