1June, 1999, the State Council gave an official reply to the request of the Beijing Municipal Government and the Ministry of Science and Technology on the construction of Zhongguancun Science Park, and decided to build Zhongguancun into a high-tech park with beautiful environment, perfect facilities, convenient transportation and smooth information in about ten years.

1999165438+10/8 with the approval of the Beijing municipal government, Beijing Science Park Construction Co., Ltd. was established, which is the predecessor of Beikejian Group, the builder of Zhongguancun Plaza Shopping Center.

In 2000, the construction of Zhongguancun core business district began. Zhongguancun Square (formerly known as Zhongguancun West) officially started construction on June 20th, 2000.

In 2005, in response to the construction needs of zhongguancun west, Beikejian Group began to invest in the construction of Zhongguancun Plaza Shopping Center.

In April 2006, Zhongguancun Plaza Shopping Center officially opened.
