History of San Salvador
The city of San Salvador was founded by Spanish colonists on 1525. It was originally built in a nearby place called Sugototo, and later moved to its present place.

It was once a colony of Cuzcatlá n and the capital of El Salvador, the capital of Guatemala.

1834- 1839 was once the federal capital of Central America.

Since the establishment of 184 1 El Salvador, it has become the capital. Most people in San Salvador are Indo-European. Most residents believe in Catholicism and the official language is Spanish. It was destroyed by earthquakes many times and then rebuilt into a modern city.
