The history department has a history of 50 years. My major at present is history, 18 teacher. There are 9 professors, 4 associate professors and 4 lecturers. There are 5 doctors, 1 doctors are studying.

History is a subject that takes the past life track of human beings as the research object. It mainly studies the track of human development and evolution, social and cultural life in different regions and periods, the development track of different nationalities, ancient books, documents, calendars and systems left by ancestors, etc. Through analysis and research, it can provide reference for today's social life. The content of this major is very rich and extensive, such as the general history of China, the general history of the world, an introduction to history and the history of Sino-foreign relations. At the same time, I have to be exposed to certain foreign language materials.

The Department of History has five master's degree programs in history, including ancient history of China, modern history of China, world history, special history, archaeology and museum science. Tutor 14, 7 part-time and external tutors.

Based on the northern frontier, the Department of History highlights the regional and ethnic characteristics of the history discipline and has made remarkable achievements in scientific research. Since 2000 alone, history teachers have presided over and participated in dozens of scientific research and educational reform projects at or above the school level, published more than academic monographs 10 and published more than 250 papers.

In recent years, the comprehensive quality of history majors has been continuously improved. The passing rate of CET-4 and CET-6 and the rate of graduate enrollment have always been prominent among students of all majors in the school. After graduation, students have a wide range of employment and a high one-time employment rate. They are mainly engaged in scientific research personnel, teachers, civil servants, editors and secretaries, and are very popular in various industries. Tourism Department, majoring in tourism management 1, enrolls students from all over the country, and trains senior professionals who have professional knowledge of tourism management, are familiar with the principles, policies and regulations of China's tourism development, have the basic ability to analyze and solve problems by using tourism management theory, and can engage in tourism management in tourism administrative departments at all levels and tourism enterprises and institutions.

After years of construction and development, undergraduate majors have formed three teaching and research directions: tourism enterprise management, tourism resource planning and tourism culture. The educational goal has also changed from applied talents to strategic management talents, scientific research innovative talents and planning and design talents.

There are currently 13 teachers in the Department of Tourism, including 3 doctors (including 2 doctoral students) and 7 masters (including 1 master of Queensland State University, Australia). There are 6 part-time teachers, including 2 professors and 2 associate professors.

While paying attention to teaching quality and personnel training, the tourism department has also made some achievements in scientific research. Since the establishment of the department in 2002, * * * has successively presided over and participated in the completion of 8 provincial and ministerial-level vertical topics and many horizontal topics in tourism planning in Inner Mongolia, and published nearly 10 books.

In the past three years, many students majoring in tourism have been admitted to China Renmin University, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University, Beijing Foreign Studies University and Inner Mongolia University for further study.

The tourism department is based on the tenet of "integrating and serving the industry practice", which has strong application and great social demand. In recent years, the employment situation of students is good, and the one-time employment rate of graduates is over 90%, which is well received by employers.
