History of Zhongshan ancient town
This ancient town has a long history. The ancient town was originally named Longdongchang. According to the Southern Song Dynasty (A.D. 1 15 1), the Longdongchang can be tested in 857, and Qingxi County was established in the Ming Dynasty.

In Qing Dynasty, Jiangjin was divided into 12 capitals (Li Si, Duli and Bamboo Shoot) in Lisan. In the thirty-third year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty, twelve bamboo shoots were located in Longdongchang. During Guangxu period, the original Longdongchang, Laochang and Masangya merged into three venues.

After liberation, the original organizational system remained unchanged. 1958 changed to Sanhe people's commune. 1982, changed to Zhongshan People's Commune. 1984, changed to Zhongshan Township. From 65438 to 0993, Changle Township and Zhongshan Township merged into Zhongshan Town, which was approved as a famous historical and cultural town in Chongqing in 2002, Couplet Town in Chongqing in 2004 and China in 2005. In 2008, it was rated as "Top Ten Town Projects", "Top Ten Eco-tourism Projects" and "Top Ten Rural Tourism Projects" by Chongqing Tourism Bureau.
