Why * * * is the inevitable development of history?
* * * Capitalism is the inevitable trend of the development of human society because:

(1) This is determined by the objective laws of the development of human society. The development of human society is the result of the contradictory movement of productive forces and relations of production. The relations of production must adapt to the development of productive forces, which is the universal law of all social development. In the final analysis, social development is determined by the development level of productive forces and has an objective law that is independent of human will. Any social form has its process of emergence, development and extinction. Due to its own contradictions, one social form must be replaced by another higher social form. The history of human society is the history of social form replacement, otherwise, society will not progress. Although man has his own dynamic role in creating history, he can't cancel the objective law of social development subjectively, but can only accelerate or delay the process of social development with his own practical activities. Because of this, Marxism believes that human society will inevitably pass through primitive society, slave society, feudal society and capitalist society.

(2) Capitalism is not an eternal and absolute social system. Since its emergence, there has been an insurmountable contradiction, that is, the contradiction between capitalist private ownership and socialized mass production. Although contemporary capitalism has adopted some means of self-adjustment and new changes have taken place, fundamentally speaking, these adjustments and improvements have not touched the inherent contradictions of capitalism. The more dominant the capitalist mode of production, the more it can continue to develop. The incompatibility between social production and capitalist possession will inevitably become more and more obvious. Marxism scientifically points out that in the long river of human historical development, capitalism is not an eternal and absolute social system, but a transitional social system like all previous social systems.

(3) The establishment of the socialist system is reasonable and inevitable. Socialism is the lower stage of production. The socialist system eliminated the private ownership that hindered the development of productive forces, and established public ownership that adapted to socialized mass production, thus liberating productive forces and developing them at a speed that capitalism did not have; Socialist society can consciously and constantly reform the parts and aspects that are not suitable for the development of productive forces and solve the contradictions that are not suitable for the development of productive forces. Under the socialist system, it is impossible for capitalism to adhere to the dominant position of public ownership of the means of production and distribution according to work, eliminate exploitation and polarization, and finally achieve common prosperity. With the development and perfection of the socialist system, socialism will surely develop to its highest stage.
