A major feature of ancient villages in Qiao Qi is the gathering and reproduction of the Kongshi family. There are 30,000 descendants of Confucius gathered around the village. According to historical records, the 54th grandson of Confucius has lived here since the Song Dynasty. Gaochun once had 72 villages named Kong, which coincided with 72 disciples of Confucius.
