Tuanshan dwellings
Tuanshan Folk House is located in Tuanshan Village, Xizhuang Town, Jianshui County, which is 0/3km away from the county seat/kloc-0. It is one of the historical and cultural resources of Jianshui.
Zhang, the ancestor of Tuanshan, entered Yunnan from Poyang County, Jiangxi Province during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty (1390 ~ 1406), settled in Tuanshan and gradually developed into a big family. During the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, a group of people in the village left their homes, went to Gejiu to develop mining, made money, and then returned to their hometowns to build luxury houses. Only in this way can we worship our ancestors and shine. Well-preserved traditional houses 15. There are 7 ancient buildings, including 3 Zhaimen, 3 temples and 1 ancestral hall 1 seat. Total construction area 18384.5 m2, construction area 16 158 m2. There are various forms of residential buildings in the whole residential complex, covering different areas, different scales and sizes, but all of them highlight the typical characteristics of residential buildings in southern Yunnan with their regular shapes, flexible layout and rich space. Wood carving, brick carving and stone carving of these dwellings are all over the beam purlin arch, door and window partition, sparrow column lintel, sill wall tile, stone column foundation, waist (sumeru) stone carving and other building components, with various forms, patterns, fine carving, different styles and unique features. Calligraphy and painting is also a major feature of Tuanshan residential building decoration. According to statistics, there are 2,977 calligraphy works, 26 17 paintings and 5,594 calligraphy and painting works in Tuanshan village, which are comprehensive in style, rich in content, rigorous in composition and concise in layout.
Tuanshan residential building highlights the typical characteristics of residential buildings in southern Yunnan with its exquisite wood carving technology and folk decoration art, and witnesses the production and life of people in southern Yunnan. It is a masterpiece of architecture and the essence of residential buildings in southern Yunnan. Its value is not only in Yunnan but also in the whole country.
From June 65438 to September 0990, "Dacheng Temple" and "Zhangjia Garden" in Tuanshan residential buildings were respectively announced as the third batch of cultural relics protection units in Jianshui County. In February 2003, Tuanshan residential buildings (including Dacheng Temple, Zhangjia Garden, etc. 13) were announced as the fourth batch of national cultural relics protection units. From June, 5438 to February, 2003, Tuanshan folk houses were announced as the sixth batch of provincial cultural relics protection units.
