1982, when Liu and others were working on the beach on the north bank of Jialing River. They found something shiny in the stone next to them. Out of curiosity, Liu picked it up and secretly hid it in his arms and took it home. When I brought this gold ware home, I told my wife that I had found gold on the beach. At first, his wife didn't believe him and thought it was her husband's empty talk. In order to prove whether this golden seal is real gold, Liu's wife swallowed it, leaving a tooth mark, and confirmed that it is indeed a golden seal.
When his wife knew that it was indeed gold, she began to tell her neighbors about it. Since then, the news that Liu picked up the golden seal has spread to the local cultural relics bureau. Later, experts were sent to see if the legend was true. When experts saw the handwriting on the gold seal, they concluded that it was a cultural relic with great historical value.
When the experts learned that this gold seal belonged to Liu Fa, they explained to the villagers that the cultural relics in our country should be owned by the state and not held by individuals. Since then, Liu and others have realized that it is illegal for them to collect cultural relics privately, so they took the initiative to hand them over to the country. After that, Liu was awarded the 350 yuan Prize and certificate. In 2008, Liu was also invited to visit Chongqing Museum. When he saw the gold seal he found that year, he couldn't help but say with emotion that if he had known it was a cultural relic, he wouldn't have let his wife bite it.
