What are the successful reform cases in the history of China?
Well-known successful examples of political reform are: Li Kui in the Warring States Period, Shen Buhai in the Republic of Korea, Shang Yang in the State of Qin, Wu Qi in the State of Chu and Zou Ji in the State of Qi, all of which are relatively successful. There are also three famous political reforms, namely, Wang Anshi's political reform in the Song Dynasty (successful in the early stage, but failed in exile), Zhang's political reform in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (successful when Zhang was alive, and the imperial edict was overthrown just after his death), and the Reform Movement of 1898 of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (failed to be strangled by Cixi).
