Materialist dialectics holds that the material world is a unified whole with universal connection and constant movement and change; Dialectical law is the law of the physical world's own movement; Subjective dialectics or dialectical thinking is the reflection of objective dialectics in human thinking. It is the most comprehensive, rich and profound development theory.
It includes three basic laws (the law of unity of opposites, the law of mutual change of quality and the law of negation of negation) and a series of basic categories, such as phenomenon and essence, causality, inevitability and contingency, possibility and reality, form and content, with the law of unity of opposites as the core. It is a kind of cosmology, epistemology and methodology.

The basic law of materialist dialectics
Materialist dialectics points out that law is an inherent, essential, inevitable and stable connection of things themselves and an inevitable trend of development. Laws are objective, stable, repeatable and universal.
In other words, the law does not depend on people's subjective consciousness, and can neither be created nor destroyed by people. As long as the conditions are met, it must play a role, so the law must be respected.
But dialectics also emphasizes the importance of people's subjective initiative: first, in understanding the world, because the law is hidden inside things, only by exerting subjective initiative can we grasp the law through phenomena; Second, when transforming the world, we should also rely on subjective initiative to change the conditions for the law to play its role according to the purpose of practice, so as to guide the specific ways for the law to play its role.
