Will contour lines appear in Quaternary on geological maps?
Although there are no topographic contours on the geological map, elevation control points are marked on the features such as Hongshiya, Caiyunling, Songling, Yunling Mountain, Mountain and Songlingyu, and a northwest-southeast river runs through the northwest corner to the southeast corner of the map. According to these elevation control points and rivers, the topographic outline of the map can be judged.

Quaternary distribution is very limited, only distributed in the middle and lower reaches of Xiangxi River valley, belonging to river alluvial deposits. There is indeed an angular unconformity contact relationship between Quaternary and the underlying lower Triassic, but considering that the map area is basically a horizontal stratum from Paleocene to Neogene, the angular unconformity interface between Quaternary and the underlying lower Triassic obviously cannot reflect large-scale tectonic movement and is not suitable as the interface of structural layers.
