From 65438 to 0989, Francis Fukuyama, a Japanese-American political scholar, put forward the conclusion of the end of history in The End of History. He believes that the end of the Cold War marks the end of communism, and the historical development of human politics has come to an end. There is only one way for historical development, namely, western market economy and democratic politics.
Subsequently, 1992, Fukuyama expanded on the basis of this article, thus forming and publishing the book The End of History and the Last Man. A fundamental viewpoint discussed in his articles and works is the "final conclusion of history", that is, the so-called western freedom and democracy have won the final victory in history.
For more than 30 years, Fukuyama's view of "the end of history" has not been confirmed by facts, but has been refuted by history. This is because he is based on an abstract view of human history, which is full of confusion and absurdity and begins with "pursuing spiritual identity".
The true situation of the final conclusion of history
After the end of the cold war, how to evaluate the capitalist system and socialist system and their fate has become a realistic issue of general concern in the theoretical circles of the East and the West. In this context, Francis Fukuyama, a Japanese-American scholar, put forward the so-called "conclusion of the end of history".
The "final conclusion of history" without practical basis has increasingly exposed its own "rickets" and failed to explain the reality in the evolution of human civilization. As Sir George Clark, a British historian who has always been based on the principle of "truthfully explaining history", pointed out, "our generation can't reach the ultimate history."
In the post-financial crisis era, the development of capitalist economy is in trouble, accompanied by the strong development momentum of socialist China, which makes the irrational prediction of reality in the "final conclusion of history" more and more prominent and has been falsified by China's modernization practice.
