What is Zhao Yanfei like in history?
Zhao, surnamed Zhao (45 BC-BC 1), was born as a maid-in-waiting, and was the second queen. Han Chengdi became the queen at the age of 37. Nine years later, Emperor Han Chengdi died at the age of 46. Its original name is not recorded in the official history, and it is usually recognized as the owner. After the death of Emperor Cheng of Han Dynasty, Emperor Ai of Han Dynasty succeeded to the throne, and Zhao became the empress dowager. Six years later, Emperor Han Ping succeeded to the throne, from Empress Dowager to Empress Dowager Xiao. 1 month later, he was renamed Shu Ren and committed suicide.

Zhao is a legendary figure and mythical beauty in the history of China. There are few descriptions of her in Hanshu and few records of her in official history. But there are many books about her in unofficial history. The story of Zhao and his sister Zhao Hede is a process of continuous spread and gradual enrichment, especially in Miscellanies of Xijing and Biography of Yan Fei. In the history of China, she is famous for her beauty. The so-called "being fat and thin" is about her and Yang Yuhuan, and thinness is usually used to describe a kind of frivolous beauty. At the same time, because of her beauty, she became the representative of the seductive emperor.

Life background

a surname

Zhao was born in a commoner, and entered the palace as a maid-in-waiting as a good woman, not as a hook or a handmaiden. Father Zhao Lin's family is very poor because she gave birth to a baby girl. Zhao Yi was abandoned at birth, but she was not dead three days later, so she was taken home to raise her. I grew up in the palace, belonged to Yang Afei's family, and studied song and dance. Because of her light dancing, I got the name "Yan Fei".

Empress feng Li

Emperor Han Chengdi ascended the throne for more than ten years, at the age of 30, but there was no surviving prince in the harem. On one occasion, she traveled incognito and came to Yang Agong's mansion. Yang Guifei's family called out all the good girls in the mansion to please Emperor Xian of Han Dynasty. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty was very happy to see Zhao fascinated by her beauty and dancing, so he recruited her into the palace and was greatly loved.

Later, I heard that she had a sister named Zhao Hede, who was very beautiful, gentle and affectionate, and even Zhao was ashamed of herself, so she was ordered to be recruited into the palace. Sisters are "all family members, the closest relatives in the harem". Emperor Cheng doted on Zhao's sisters, disdained other concubines, and loved them beyond the ritual system. Queen Xu, Ban Jieyu and others are out of favor. In the third year of Hongjia (BC 18), it was discovered that Xu's sister cursed the pregnant concubine in the harem, and Zhao took the opportunity to report that Xu and others cursed the harem women and begged for their favor. The queen mother was furious when she learned that, and ordered a thorough investigation, so she abolished Queen Xu. Later, Emperor Han Chengdi wanted to make Zhao the queen, but the Queen Mother disliked her humble birth, not a noble woman, and disagreed, but in fact Wang was also a civilian. The nephew of Empress Dowager Cixi, Chun Yuchang, communicated on the establishment of Zhao as the queen. In April of the first year of eternity (BC 16), Emperor Cheng first named Zhao's father as Hou Chengyang, which changed her humble status. In June, Zhao Yanfei was made queen, and Zhao Hede was made Zhao Yi, which granted amnesty to the whole world. [3]

a surname

Zhao became a queen. Although she gained the most prominent position among women, the emperor's love for her gradually declined. The emperor loved his sister Zhao Hede the most and made her a Zhao Yi. Zhaoyang Building, the palace where Zhao lives, is extremely luxurious, with a bright red atrium and a new paint. The threshold is decorated with brass and painted with gold. The steps of the upper temple are made of white jade, and the bars exposed on the inner walls of the temple are decorated with gold rings. Lantian jade, pearls and jade feathers embedded in the wall at the same time are the most luxurious of all palaces. Miscellanies of Xijing also gives a long description of the luxury and richness of Zhao's sister's residence. Although Zhao sisters have been spoiling the harem for more than ten years, they have no children. [1] The explanation in unofficial history's Biography of Flying Swallows is that two sisters have been using Xiji Pills to preserve their beauty, resulting in infertility. [4]

In the first year of He Sui (the first eight years), Liu Xin, king of Dingtao, came to Chang 'an, and his grandmother, Empress Fu, bribed Zhao sisters privately with many gold, silver, jewels and precious fabrics to get through the joints. With their help, Han Chengdi, who has no children, is his nephew Prince Liu. The following spring, that is, seven years ago, the 46-year-old Emperor Cheng suddenly died, and Zhao's sister Zhao was hunted down by everyone, so she committed suicide. [5]

Dear queen mother

As an adopted son, Liu Xin acceded to the throne and mourned for Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. He was grateful for Zhao's original achievements and obeyed the etiquette.

Zhao is the Empress Dowager Cixi, but the younger brother of Empress Dowager Cixi, and the nephew of Empress Zhao and Xin Chenghou? For Chengyang Hou, Zhao has a prominent position. [6] However, a few months later, eunuch Li Xieguang impeached Zhao, and urged the emperor to kill the prince born in Xu Hezhong Palace, saying that "Zhao poured out the sacred dynasty, personally destroyed the heirs, and his family members took the hindmost", demanding that Zhao's crime be investigated. [7] Then he ordered people to dismiss Hou, the younger brother of Zhao, and Hou, the nephew of Chengyang. Shu Ren was relegated to the title, and his family was driven to Liaoxi County. Lang Gengyu pleaded with him on behalf of Zhao, and was skeptical about the murder of the prince revealed by Xie Guang. [8] Because of Zhao's strong contribution to the succession of the Empress Dowager and her close relationship with Empress Fu, Zhao was finally able to settle down and keep the position of the Empress Dowager, but it was hated by the Empress Dowager and the Wangs. [9]

Abandoned suicide

Yuanshou two years

(1 year ago) In June, Eddie died. Wang's consorts group, which was at odds with each other, made a comeback, and their favorite consorts were hit hard. Empress Fu and Empress Ding were dug up, and Empress Zhao was abolished, leaving only Wang. The king, the empress dowager, took the imperial edict and said, "The former empress dowager and Zhao Yi took care of everything, and my sister and brother devoted themselves to seclusion and sleep, but pursued the plan of thieves and chaos, destroying the ancestral temple and the danger, violating the heavens and ancestors, and not being the mother of the world." Empress Dowager Cixi was demoted to Queen Cheng Xiao and moved to Gong Bei. "A month later, follwed the queen zhao and queen fu together, and hurried to guard her husband's grave. On the same day, they committed suicide together. Zhao lived six years longer than her sister Zhao Hede.

Dance like a swallow

Zhao's dance is full of legends. In Miscellanies of Xijing: "Zhao's back is light and weak, and he is good before and after", and in Zhao Chuan: "Zhao's back is thin and good, and if someone trembles with flowers, others can't learn". Treading on thin ice is Zhao's original work. His hands are like flowers and his figure is like the wind, which shows his profound dancing skills. She can still control her breathing. It is said that she can stand in a person's palm and flap her sleeves like a swallow. Zhao is also good at playing drums. Xijing Miscellany records that she has a piano, which is called "Feng Bao Qin". After assistant minister An Shi played a song "Double Phoenix Leaving Luan", Zhao was particularly excited. He played a song "Returning Air to Send Far Exercises" with his own piano, which was elegant and carefree. She also presented two precious pianos to An Shi of Qing Dynasty, one called Whispering in Autumn Rain and the other called White Crane.

Return air to send remote exercises.

Historically, Zhao has always appeared as a beautiful woman who can sing and dance. However, according to "Miscellanies of Xijing", she once wrote "Return Air Farewell Exercise" (also known as "Return Air Farewell Song"), "It's hard to look at a gentleman in a cool breeze, and I feel more generous." The song is about the autumn wind rustling, first frost early, sleepless nights, caring for people, generous words, desolation and heroism. It can be seen that Zhao is not only good at singing and dancing, but also talented.

Yan pecked the emperor's grandson.

According to Hanshu, after the death of Emperor Cheng, Xie Guang participated in Zhao Hede's killing of the son of female eunuch Xu and Cao Gong, with the motive of punishing Zhao. However, it can be seen from the memorial that Zhao did not participate in this criminal act. Moreover, Emperor Cheng himself participated in the recitation, and Lang Gengyu also questioned the case. However, in the eyes of outsiders, the Zhao sisters are regarded as one, and Ban Gu's comment is "the demon of flying swallows, which is cited as a sister-in-law", while the nursery rhymes of swallows pecking at the emperor's grandson have been recorded in the official history, and have been passed down so far that they have lost their original intention and become allusions for empresses to kill the royal family. Cheating pregnancy

In Zhao Chuan written by Qin Chun in the Song Dynasty, Zhao pretended to be pregnant because he could not get pregnant, "for his own benefit", and bought a newborn baby boy from outside the palace many times to pretend to be a prince, but finally failed, so he had to tell Emperor Han that he had given birth to a son, but he was already dead.

Inner dress

Zhao's posture is extremely light. Whenever she swings her slender waist and dances in the wind, it seems that she will go with the wind. One day, she wore a purple dress and came to Taiye Pool, where she danced with music and drums. Suddenly, a strong wind blew and floated like a kite. So Emperor Cheng quickly asked the musicians to hold Zhao's skirt, lest he be blown away by the wind. When the wind stopped, I found that Zhao's Yunying purple skirt was actually wrinkled. From then on, ladies-in-waiting began to wear pleated skirts, which were dubbed "Lingxian skirts". [12] Later, in order to prevent Zhao from being blown away by the wind, Emperor Hancheng built a Qibao shed for her to dance with.

Ji Xiang pills

Unofficial history records that Zhao stuffed a pill called Ji Xiang Pill into his navel to make his skin white and tender. This pill is a honey pill made of musk, Korean ginseng, pilose antler and other precious drugs. When it is put into the navel, it does have a remarkable effect. After use, it can make people's skin coagulate like fat, sweet and fragrant, skin is better than snow, and eyes are like stars. However, the poison of this medicine will stay in the second pulse of Ren Du for a long time, making women unable to get pregnant for life. Shangguan Wu, a pharmacist in the palace, once taught Zhao to use sheep flowers to boil soup and wash, which failed to be redeemed. Yan Fei Hurd regretted it. [4]

Palm dance

Zhao Yanfei, Yanwu, Ying Ge

In Song of the Han Palace, Xu Ning, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, described that "Zhao Jiafei waited on Zhaoyang with a swallow and danced until the sound of the flute was exhausted". Since then, the palm dance has become a unique symbol of Zhao.

The style of a work of art is characterized by its beauty.

From the poem "Sun Xin's Old Begging Pavilion": "The storytelling is expensive, thin and hard, which is unfair. Short, long, fat and thin have their own states. Who dares to hate Yuhuan Yan Fei? " . Shi Huan refers to the imperial concubine of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, and Yan refers to Zhao, the empress of Emperor Hancheng. Describe the different shapes of women, each with its own beauty. It also means that works of art have different styles and strengths.
