Yu Wenchan (573 -58 1), the Emperor of the Northern Zhou Dynasty, was originally named Yu, the last emperor of the Northern Zhou Dynasty in the Southern and Northern Dynasties (the fifth generation, 579-58 1 reigned), and was a native of Xianbei nationality. He is the grandson of Yu Wenyong, the Emperor of the Northern Zhou Dynasty, and the eldest son of Xuan Di, the Emperor of the Northern Zhou Dynasty. His mother is Zhu Manyue.

Yu Wenchan was born in the East Palace in June of the second year of Jiande (573). In the first year of Dacheng (579), he was named King Lu. On the fifth day of the first month, he was appointed as the Crown Prince. On February 4th, Xuan Di passed the throne to his son Yu Wenchan in Ye Gong and lived in Zhengyang Palace.

At that time, Yu Wenchan was only 7 years old, so he changed his title to elephant. Liu P and Zheng Yi decided to take Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty as assistant minister (later Li proposed to be prime minister). In July of the same year, Sima Jiling, the daughter of Li Zhuguo and Ma Xiaonan of Xingyang Company, became the queen.

Like three years (58 1), Emperor Jingdi of the Northern Zhou Dynasty abdicated in the Sui Wendi, and Sui Wendi ascended the throne. At this point, the Northern Zhou Dynasty perished and the Sui Dynasty was established. Yang Jian named Yuwen Zen as the intermediary in lord protector, with 10,000 restaurants. Cars, clothes, gifts and music are still in accordance with the old system of the Zhou emperor, who did not call them watches, but replied that they were not letters. On May 9th, the first year of Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty (58 1), Emperor Wendi secretly sent someone to kill Gong Jie Yuwen Chan, who was only nine years old.
