Historical floods in China
Looking through the Draft of Qing History, it is found that floods occurred frequently in Qing Dynasty, but all of them were officials who were killed by the war.

I suggest you check the history of local chronicles, focusing on 1885 (the 11th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty), because the flood that occurred in the Pearl River Basin in June of 1885 was the most serious flood in the last hundred years, causing more than 10000 deaths. Please refer to the following contents: Except for the flood of Hailuan River in July in 180 1, all other 14 times were concentrated in the period of 1843- 1895, which was as many as 9 times, accounting for 3/5 of the total. They are: 1867 Hanjiang river basin flood,1870 July Yangtze river flood, 1875 Jinxi flood,1882 June Zhejiang flood, 1885 Pearl River basin flood, 1886 8. July flood in northern Shanxi 1892, August flood in southern Shanxi 1895, in which the Yangtze River 1870 flood is the largest flood in the basin for more than 830 years, and the flood level ratio in Yichang section of the Yangtze River is 1954 higher than 10 meter. Hechuan, Fuling, Fengdu, Zhongxian, Wanxian, Fengjie, Wushan, Yichang, Hubei and other towns along the Yangtze River were all destroyed. The affected area in the plain area between Yichang and Hankou is about 30,000 square kilometers, which is much larger than the flood years such as 193 1, 1935, 1954. 1885 Pearl River flood also caused 10000 deaths. (Note: Hu Mingsi and Luo Editor-in-Chief: Historical Floods in China (Volume I and Volume II), China Bookstore, 1992 edition, and there are flood articles in every session. According to Yao Lufeng's article quoted earlier, the first floods in the history of seven major rivers and other small and medium-sized rivers in China all occurred in the19th century, with 23 floods, of which 186 1- 1895 floods 12 times, accounting for/kloc-. As for other floods, the flood magnitude may not be too great, but the losses caused are equally amazing. For example, in 1865, several provinces in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River were flooded, and Jiangsu and Zhejiang residents "drowned more than 100,000" (Note: "History of the Qing Dynasty" volume 50, Tongzhi Zhongxing. ); 1884, flash floods broke out in Fuliang County, Jingdezhen and other places in Jiangxi Province, "the population was not less than 20,000" (note: 1884, 10, 19, which was reported deeply. ); 1885, flood in Hunan, "Chang (Germany) and Li (Zhou) drowned more than ten thousand people". (Note: "Wang Xianqian's Self-determined Chronology", Li Wenzhi: "China Modern Agricultural History Data", series 1, p. 723. ) 1888, the Yongding river burst, and 20,000 residents drowned in Lugouqiao area, which is unprecedented in the north (note: collected works of Liu Guangdi, p. 197). ); 1890, Yongding River burst again, "Dong 'an and Wuqing counties flooded and headed for Tianjin county", "The drowning person, according to the plan of the relief official, is always in the spectrum of 15000 to 20000" (Note: Wu Hongming: Tianjin Customs Annual Report File (1). Before 1887, the last big breach of the Yellow River occurred in Zhengzhou, Henan Province in the late Qing Dynasty. Henan, Anhui and the Soviet Union, "about 20 or 30 counties on the ground in the three provinces are all immersed in the torrent" (Note: "Recording the Deputy Files", Liu Enpu folded Guangxu on August 30, 13.
