Why did Bai Lianhua and Biyou finally become bodhisattvas in The Journey to the West?
When it comes to Bai Lianhua, it is named Our Lady of Bai Lianhua, and Biyou Fairy is named Fa Chan Bodhisattva. According to the last paragraph of the 100th original of Journey to the West, there were no such two female bodhisattvas, and the Monkey King finally came back from the dead and was named the Great Buddha in Nanwu, which also did not exist. All this is fiction.

But in fact, in Mahayana Buddhism, no matter Buddha, Bodhisattva or Lohan, they all have the same boss as Tathagata, especially Bodhisattva basically follows Buddha. After watching Journey to the West, I found no problems, and I didn't feel that there were two bodhisattvas missing from the original Journey to the West.
