If the 2500-year history of Suzhou is compared to a masterpiece, then some street names in Suzhou are the best chapters.

Ganjiang Road-According to legend, Wu Ganjiang and his wife are good at casting swords. They once forged a pair of extremely sharp swords, a lieutenant and a thank you, which were dedicated to He Lv, the king of Wu. Later, Ganjiang and Mo Xie were regarded as the names of swords. In order to commemorate the general, the ancient Suzhou people called the east gate of the ancient city, which is close to General Cemetery, "Ganmen", and later changed it to today's Xiangmen. 1982, the ancient city of Suzhou was rebuilt and named "Ganjiang Road". Veteran Mo Xie's sword-casting fire has long since vanished, but there is a road name here, which has written this historical legend forever.

Mo Xie Road-There is no "Mo Xie Road" where there are cadres. Suzhou people who admire history and culture always feel pity, because in their hearts, the veteran and Mo Xie are not only a couple, but also masters of sword-casting, a symbol of wisdom, beauty and strength, and an inseparable part of Suzhou's splendid history and culture. The prince of Wu led the army to pursue Dongyi, and temporarily stayed in a resting place, named Linton Road. On this road, it seems that we can still hear the trumpets of He Lv, the king of Wu, conquering Dongyi.

The foundation of imperial power was abolished-at the end of the Yuan Dynasty, Zhang Shicheng was the king of the separatist regime, and he built a lot of buildings, which was far more magnificent than the previous dynasty. Unfortunately, the good times did not last long, and Zhang finally lost to Zhu Yuanzhang. On the day he broke the city, he rushed his concubine to Yun Qi Building and set a fire, which spread. In a blink of an eye, even a huge palace was razed to the ground, so this thousand-year-old city was finally destroyed in the city, leaving only a place name abandoned by the emperor to future generations.

There are many streets and lanes related to the historical battles in Liang Wudi, but Liang Wudi in the south of the Yangtze River is not a place where wars are frequent, but the most comfortable place in history. Gusu City is prosperous and famous for its fish, rice and silk. Up to now, some road names in Suzhou still use the old names of trade and commercial operation 1000 years ago, such as Yancang Street, Cangmi Lane, Bean Powder Garden, Embroidery Lane, Fruit Bridge and Rolling Embroidery Workshop. From it, you can imagine the bustling scene of businessmen in Gusu City.

Suzhou City in the old days was a place for dancing and writing, so there were many footprints of literati here. Su Gong Nong left the footprints of Su Dongpo, a great poet in the Northern Song Dynasty, and Before Fan Zhuang showed us Fan Zhongyan's elegant demeanor of "worrying about the world first, and enjoying the world later" ...
