On the morning of March 22nd, 2006, the inaugural meeting and unveiling ceremony of Shandong Investigation Corps of National Bureau of Statistics was held in the auditorium of Jinan Nanjiao Hotel Club. Li Deshui, former director of the National Bureau of Statistics, and Han Yuqun, deputy secretary of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and governor jointly unveiled the Shandong Investigation Corps. Li Deshui, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and executive vice governor, and Lin Tingsheng made important speeches respectively. Huang Kehua, deputy director of the Provincial People's Congress, and Wang Zonglian, vice chairman of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference, attended the meeting. The director of the Office of the National Bureau of Statistics read out the decision on the establishment of the Shandong Investigation Corps of the National Bureau of Statistics, Du Changzuo, director of the Provincial Bureau of Statistics, gave a congratulatory speech, and Song, head of the Shandong Investigation Corps of the National Bureau of Statistics, gave a welcome speech. The meeting and unveiling ceremony was presided over by Han Jinfeng, Deputy Secretary General of the provincial government.
