I. Geographical environment
Let's first look at the geographical location of Iran.
West Asia of the Asian plate
Judging from the above two maps, Iran belongs to western Asia, with the Caspian Sea above, the Persian Gulf between Iran and Iraq, and the Arabian Sea below Iran. Geographically, we can say that Iran is a plate surrounded by the sea on both sides. Of course, Iran also has mountains.
zagros mountains
Zagros mountains, the largest mountain range in Iran. Located in the southwest of the Iranian plateau, it stretches from northwest to southeast 1200 km, with an average elevation of 3000 meters. The strike is basically parallel to the Mesopotamian plain and the Persian Gulf coast.
Let's look at the terrain of Iran:
Most of Iran's territory is on the Iranian plateau, which belongs to plateau countries, and the altitude is generally between 900- 1500m. Mount Elbers and Mount Copit are in the southwest, Garn-Bill and Gaud are in the east, and Mount Elby is in the north. Mount Demavand is the highest mountain in Iran, with an altitude of 5670 meters. There is a wide zagros mountains system in the west and southwest, accounting for about half of the country. The central part is an arid basin, forming many deserts, including Cavell Desert and lut desert, with an average elevation of 1 1,000m. Only the southwest coast of the Persian Gulf and the northern coast of the Caspian Sea have small areas of impact plains. The plain from the foot of Zagros Mountain in the southwest to the top of Persian Gulf is called Khuzestan. The main rivers are Kalulun River and Seifield River. Caspian Sea is the largest saltwater lake in the world, and its south bank belongs to Iran.
Two. climate
The climate in Iran has four distinct seasons. From June to April (that is, winter) in 5438, the precipitation in Iran dropped a lot. In summer, due to the control of subtropical high, the temperature in Iran is very high and there is not much precipitation. The highest temperature in Tehran is in July, and the average minimum and maximum temperatures are 22℃ and 37℃ respectively. The minimum temperature is 65438+ 10 month, and the average minimum and maximum temperatures are 3℃ and 7℃ respectively.
The climate is similar to that in northern China, except that the temperature is a little higher in some places.
Three. Culture and religion
The smiling prophet Zoroaster, the archangel of Mazda Sect, Wahumana, after establishing a powerful country in Pattaya, implemented a tolerant policy towards the diversity of religion, language and culture in their province; Mithraism is called Sun God, Islam, Manichaeism and Christianity. ...
Iran is a country that seeks or is influenced by different religions to absorb what they think is good or stick to something. Now Iran believes in Islam.
Iranians are a branch of the Indo-European nation. They moved out from BC 1500 to BC 1000 (the grassland area in present-day Russia). With the war between countries, they migrated and multiplied, and were influenced by Elam, Sumerian, Assyrian, Babylonian, and of course Spain, France, Libya and other places.
A "Silk Road" historically related to China has also been to Poland, which was once the territory of Iran, and Tehran is the capital of Iran.
At that time, many people thought silk was an expensive satin. No matter Persian or Roman, even if you give money to the enemy, you should buy silk for your wife and daughter!
The first constitution after the Islamic revolution was promulgated in1979 65438+February, which stipulated that Iraq should implement the system of the integration of politics and religion, and the theocracy was above everything else. 1in April, 989, the Constitution was partially revised, emphasizing that the belief, system, canon and harmony of Islam and the absolute power of the supreme leader cannot be changed. In July of the same year, Khamenei formally approved the new constitution adopted by referendum.
If there is an opportunity, you can visit the World Museum or the Iranian Museum, and you will find different cultures in different periods, the process of ethnic migration in different periods, the rise and fall of a nation, and the culture of a nation, which cannot be simply described by me alone or summarized in a book. If there is an opportunity, you can refer to this brief history of Iran for a simple understanding. Of course, this book is not enough if we want to study it in depth.
We may have time to finish reading this book, but we may not fully understand it. If we have time and opportunity, I think it will be an unforgettable experience to visit Iran while studying, and it will also give us a deeper understanding of Iranian culture!
Note: I'm just a reading enthusiast. Please forgive me if there is anything missing. You can also write down what you know about Iranian culture, history and humanistic customs!
