South China Tiger, a subspecies of tiger endemic to China, is only distributed in China and lives in south-central China. It is also called the Chinese tiger. South China tiger has round head, short ears, strong limbs, long tail, orange-yellow body with black stripes and milky white hair on its chest and abdomen.
A South China tiger weighing 225 kg was once discovered by Shaanxi Biological Investigation Team and was determined as the largest South China tiger ever discovered in China.
