/kloc-at the end of 0/3 century/kloc-at the beginning of 0/4 century, Bantu people established the kingdom of Congo in the lower reaches of Congo River. From 65438 to the 5th century, Portugal, the Netherlands, Britain, France and Belgium invaded one after another. From 1884 to 1885, Berlin Conference on Dividing Africa designated the area east of Congo River as belgian colonial, now Congo (DRC), and the area west of Congo River as French colony, now Congo (Brazzaville). 1August 960 15, Congo (Brazzaville) gained complete independence and was named the Republic of Congo. Congo (DRC) became independent on June 30th, 1960.
Congo (DRC) and Congo (Brazzaville) are both located in central and western Africa, and the territory of the former is much larger. Both countries are rich in natural resources. Congo (DRC), known as the geological museum of the world, is rich in various rare minerals, especially diamonds. Most of the citizens of the two countries believe in Catholicism, and the official language is French.
