Congo (DRC), namely Democratic Republic of Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, also known as "Zaire"; Congo (Brazzaville) is the Republic of Congo. The French names of these two countries are Congo, so the abbreviations of their respective capitals are added to distinguish the names of these two countries-Kinshasa for gold and Brazzaville for cloth.

From 1884 to 1885, Berlin Conference on Dividing Africa designated the area east of Congo River as belgian colonial, now Congo (DRC), and the area west of Congo River as French colony, now Congo (Brazzaville). 1August 960 15, Congo (Brazzaville) gained complete independence and was named the Republic of Congo. Congo (DRC) became independent on June 30th, 1960.

Congo (DRC) and Congo (Brazzaville) are both located in central and western Africa, and the territory of the former is much larger. Both countries are rich in natural resources. Congo (DRC), known as the geological museum of the world, is rich in various rare minerals, especially diamonds. Most of the citizens of the two countries believe in Catholicism, and the official language is French.
