Luoyang has a history of 5,000 years of civilization, 4,000 years of urban history and 1500 years of capital construction. It is also one of the cradles of China culture.
Luoyang and Chang 'an are both famous cities in history, with many stories and many magical colors.
Luoyang has the saying that the Silk Road starts from the east, and the center of the Grand Canal in Sui and Tang Dynasties, where the Xia, Shang and Western Zhou Dynasties all established their capitals.
In the early years of Xia Dynasty, Kyushu was divided into two parts, and Luoyang was the capital and main activity center of Xia Dynasty.
After the establishment of Shang Dynasty, Xihao was chosen as the capital, and the Western Zhou Dynasty also built its capital here and changed it to Luoyi.
During the Qin Dynasty, Sanchuan County was located in Luoyang, and its capital was also located in Luoyang. At the beginning of Han Dynasty, Emperor Gaozu established Luoyang as his capital and later moved to Chang 'an.
In the first year of Jianwu, Emperor Guangwu of Han Dynasty, Liu Xiu established Luoyang as his capital and changed it to Luoyang. It was not until Wei Wendi Cao Pi made Luoyang his capital that he changed back to Luoyang.
There are too many dynasties in Luoyang in history, and each dynasty has a different story in Luoyang.
There is also a fairy tale about Luoyang city. In the Heavenly Palace, the Queen Mother wanted to see a hundred flowers blossom, so she ordered a hundred flowers to blossom. But the next morning, she found that all the flowers in the garden were in bloom except the peony. The Queen Mother was very angry and sent someone to arrest fairy peony and ask her why she didn't blossom. Fairy peony said that the timing was wrong, and it should not be forced to blossom.
Because fairy peony resisted the imperial edict, the Queen Mother drove the peony into Luoyang, a bitter and cold place. As a result, peony flowers are very beautiful after the season and stand out in Luoyang!
Luoyang regards peony as the city flower. Although this is a fairy tale, there are too many stories representing Luoyang in ancient times.
Luoyang or Chang 'an, they have experienced historical changes, and the city is changing, and it will only get better and better.
I hope their historical traces will not disappear, nor will the civilizations and legends in history.
