Zhu (? -1899), formerly known as Zhu Fengming, was born in Zhegou Town, surabaya county, Shandong Province, and was the founder of the Boxer Rebellion in the late Qing Dynasty. /kloc-in 0/898, he fled to Dalizhuang, Changqing County (now Dalizhuang, Qihe County, Dezhou) due to floods, and his uncle's family practiced medicine. After the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895, churches were established in Changqing County (now Changqing District of Jinan City), and imperialist missionaries ran rampant in villages, bullying and insulting the people, and the masses were filled with indignation. At this time, some places in Changqing County (now Changqing District of Jinan City) have started to set up boxing training grounds, and the slogans of "rejuvenating the Qing Dynasty and destroying the foreign countries" and "taking foreign religions to protect the country" have appeared. Zhu Hongguang learned boxing from his teacher and set up a venue in Dalizhuang. Under the guise of practicing medicine and selling drugs, he went to neighboring towns to carry out anti-foreign propaganda, and was soon promoted to the leader of the Boxer Rebellion in Changqing.
