Broken Blue Bridge is a love tragedy film released by Universal Pictures, directed by james will and starring may clark, Douglass Montgomery and bette davis. The film was released in Finland on June 2nd, 1935.

Brief introduction to the story of Broken Blue Bridge;

19 17 Waterloo Bridge in London during World War I. The air raid alarm sounded and people ran to the bomb shelter in panic. In the noisy crowd, the charming young captain officer Roy Cronin (Douglass Montgomery) meets the beautiful ballerina Mara Deauville (may clark). They fell in love at first sight and were going to get married. However, on the eve of the wedding, Roy was ordered to go to the front, and Mara was fired by the ballet for seeing off the officer.

During the war, Mara read in the newspaper that Roy was killed. Mara became a prostitute in despair. Soon after, Mara finally waited for Roy who missed him very much at the train station. In order not to damage Roy's reputation, Mara decided to leave Roy in secret. Mara came to Waterloo Bridge, where she first met, and rushed at the speeding vehicles in despair.
