(l) Origin and history
The origin of Canadian hairless cats is still not completely clear. Some people think it is produced in South America, because indigenous people in Mexico once raised this hairless cat. In fact, Tuscan hairless cat is an extremely rare hairless gene mutation in the genetic breeding of domestic cats in the United States or Europe. It is said that in 1966, a Canadian found a hairless cat among the offspring of ordinary cats and immediately began to breed, but it is impossible to get hairless offspring by mating a hairless sphinx cat with a sphinx cat. Later, an experienced breeder crossed a Sphinx cat with a short-haired cat and got very few hairless offspring. Due to the difficulty in feeding, the number of hairless cats with sphinx is very small so far. They are a bit like the famous monster Sphinx in ancient Egyptian mythology, so people named it Sphinx Cat. Scientists saw it in Baranja in 1830 and in Mexico in 1900.

Compared with other cats, this kind of cat is hairless, wrinkled, elastic and sweaty except for some thin and soft fetal hairs on its ears, mouth, nose, tail and feet. The head is wedge-shaped, the ears are big, and the eyes are round and slightly oblique, mostly blue and gold. The tail is long and thin. Muscular, touch body temperature higher than other cats.
