Written in late spring and March, the grass grows in the south of the Yangtze River, the peanut trees are mixed, and the orioles fly around. On the outskirts of Huzhou, a land of silk and plenty, there is a beautiful girl of 18 years old who is embroidering her wedding dress in the shade of weeping willows among the flowers. She is the central figure in this play-Cao. When she was intoxicated with the longing for the wedding and longed for the early arrival of a happy life, her fiance Shen, who lives in Shaoxing, suddenly joined her relatives. Unexpectedly, the encounter between the two became the beginning of Fang's tragic fate. It turned out that Shen, her fiance, was a one-or two-year-old child whose parents were both dead and helpless. Under the constraint of feudal ethics and the intimidation of the heads of the two families, Fang Er had to take in, temporarily fix up his brother and sister, and put up with hardships to raise the orphan, hoping that he would grow up and get married. Because of this unfortunate experience, a series of tortures followed, and the beautiful girl gradually became a haggard middle-aged woman. When she worked hard to cultivate Xia Meng and become the first, a heavier blow came to her. The young champion has privately engaged with her sister Lv Biyun.
